Birds of the Never Never (Anbangbang Billabong and Mamukala Wetlands)
Venture out into the Never Never, where the billabongs are lush and the birdlife is abundant.
On this tour, your guide will take you to Anbangbang Billabong and Mamukala Wetlands, the two destinations that help give Kakadu National Park, its reputation for being one of the best birdwatching destinations in Australia.
Anbangbang is also the destination made famous from the Crocodile Dundee movie, where Mick Dundee was caught shaving with a razor.
See water and woodland birds, including black-necked storks, magpie geese, darters, spoonbills, whistling ducks, finches, pelicans…too many to list.
Chizo, also once a keen Finch breeder, will share expert knowledge on this stunning natural habitat.
Take your binoculars and a camera for this one!
