Your first stop is a drive to the southern end of the park, as you find yourself on a 4 Wheel Drive track through open woodland savannah and floodplains which ultimately leads you to escarpment country.
Here you can swim under the lower Gunlom Plunge pool waterfall or even dress up and recreate the legendary poses filmed in the Crocodile Dundee 1 movie.
Along the way, your guide will share stories of the wildlife and wildlands in this stunning location.
After a picnic lunch and once you’ve had your fill of the waterfall and plunge pool, you will make your way to the Warradjan Cultural Centre, where you can top up your knowledge of the local indigenous culture and visit the arts and crafts gift shop.
We then head north to the billabong where Sue left Mick to see if she could survive in the area by herself at Anbangbang Billabong. This is also the area where Mick got caught shaving with his razor, which he quickly swapped for a knife.
Be sure to bring your bathers and your sense of adventure on this tour, it’s a true movie lover’s treat and a nature lover’s paradise.
Note: Tour sizes are small and can include other guests.
This is a very easy walk to the plunge pool and to the billabong, we would consider the level of difficulty a 1/10.
There are public toilet facilities at the picnic site and Warradjan Cultural Centre.
