Ubirr Sundowner
Every destination in the world has that one iconic, must-see, special place and in Kakadu, it’s the Ubirr Sunset.
As you walk past ancient rock art and make your way to the top, the stunning view overlooking the Nadab floodplains will simply take your breath away.
This is an important place for the traditional owners and you will see why when you get here. The rock art traces 65,000 years of ancient culture and the Aboriginal peoples first encounter with Europeans.
The sunset view is the best time to experience the tapestry of colours that stretch out before you for 1,000kms across floodplains and woodlands.
Your guide will take you to Ubirr to enjoy the view, learn about the history and enjoy a light snack as you watch the sun go down.
This is the #Kakadu #mustdo experience.
