Gunlom Falls in Kakadu
Kubara pools walk is a 6 km return walk through savanna woodlands, sandstone country, and monsoonal rainforest. The 3km walk is in open woodland, so bring a large water bottle and a hat.
The Nanguluwurr Gallery is a small rock art site with a 3.4 km return walk.
Surrounded by the monsoon rainforest, Kabara (Gabara) Pools is a beautiful spot for Birdwatches, Bushwalkers and Photographers.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the shade before you then head to one or the other - depends on the weather of the day. Be prepared for the near 10km walking for the day.
This wet and dry season tour is accessible only by 4WD.
We consider the difficulty level a 6/10.
