Maguk Falls 4WD Tour

Maguk is a stunning waterfall destination that is easy to get to with crystal clear water flowing most of the year. This destination suits all ages with options to relax or explore.

Stay at the bottom pool or adventure up the rocky track that leads to the top of the falls. Here, choose from a series of beautiful natural spa-like pools to relax in.

Your guide will prepare a picnic lunch for you to enjoy before you head home. Along the way, there are a series of massive termite mounds in the open woodland savannah, that you can stop to get a picture with.

The fruit on this native species are commonly referred to as Cluster Figs. Trees are found along the river edges and in monsoon forests here in Kakadu National Park. When ripe the fruit are a bright orange colour and are edible. They have a fairly bland taste with a hint of sweetness. Fun fact – fish enjoy eating Cluster Figs too and wait for the fruit to drop in the water. If you see a Cluster Fig tree next to the river with branches overhanging, it might be a good spot to drop a line! 🎣#kakadunationalpark #clusterfig #Ficus #racemosa #Moraceae #neverneversafaritours #kakadu #native #species #plants #idigenous #foodsource
